Agave Sweetened Pomegranate Green Iced Tea
Ingredients:
6 green tea bags
10 sprigs fresh mint
8 cups of boiling water
3/4 cup lemon juice
1 cup pomegranate juice
2/3 cup agave nectar
Directions:
1 Place tea bags and mint in a large heat proof container
2. Let boiling water rest for 1 minute. Add water and steep for 5 minutes.
3. Strain the tea mixture.
4. Stir in 2/3 cup agave nectar.
5. Add the lemon and pomegranate juices.
6. Chill in the fridge, stir well, and serve in a tall glass over ice.
7. Garnish with a slice of lemon or mint sprig.

Oatmeal: Make Healthy Foods Even Healthier!
Good: Instead of using hot water, combine fresh brewed green tea with your oatmeal, and add even more health benefits to your morning.

Salada Chai Rice
Boil brown rice in Salada's Chai Green Tea.
 Once cooked add 1 tsp (or more to taste) of honey, a dash of cinnamon and raisins…then mix and enjoy!
This makes a perfect side dish.

Salada's Boston Iced Tea
Ingredients:
1 Gallon of Water
15 Salada Tea Bags (Green/White/Black)
1 (12 fl. oz.) can of Cranberry Juice Concentrate
(We recommend 100% Juice/All-Natural)
Sweetener (Optional)
Directions:
In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
Remove from heat and place tea bags in hot water.
Brew 2-5 minutes depending on tea type, or to desired strength.
Stir in Cranberry Juice Concentrate
Allow to Cool
Serve over ice
Salada's Green Tea Martini
Ingredients:
1 ounce Salada 100% Green Tea, chilled
½ ounce Grand Marnier
2 ounces citron vodka of your choice
Ice
Sugar
Lime Juice
Lime slices
Directions:
Combine green tea, Grand Marnier and vodka in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
Pour into a martini glass rimmed with lime juice and super-fine sugar. Garnish with lime slices.

Salada's Orange Iced Green Tea
Ingredients:
4 cups boiling water
8 Salada 100% Green Tea bags
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
Directions:
Steep tea bags for five minutes.
Stir in sugar and allow to cool.
Combine orange juice, lemon juice and tea in a container.
Pour over ice and garnish with fresh orange slices.
Salada's White Tea Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of frozen berries
(raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
3/4 cup soy milk
1/2 cup brewed Salada 100% Pure White Tea
1/2 cup natural pomegranate or pomegranate/blueberry juice
1 banana
Directions:
Put frozen fruit, soy milk, white tea, juice and banana in a blender.
Cover and blend until smooth.
Salada's Green Tea Fruit Twist Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup Salada Green Tea, chilled (any Salada Green Tea)
2 cups strawberries, sliced
2 pineapple rings
1 banana
1 tablespoon honey
Ice cubes as needed
Directions:
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses and serve.
Salada's Summer Berry Tea
Ingredients:
2 Cups Boiling Water
2 Tea bags
¼ Cup of Sugar
2 Cups Ice Cubes
4 Cups Ginger Ale
½ Cup Raspberries
Lemon Slices Cut in Half
Fresh Mint Leaves (Optional)
Directions:
Pour boiling water over tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes.
Remove tea bags; add sugar stirring to dissolve.
Cool. Pour tea over ice cubes in a large pitcher.
Add ginger ale and stir gently.
Add raspberries and lemon slices.
If desired garnish each serving with mint leaves.
Serve immediately.
Salada's Vegetable Soup with a Green Tea Twist
Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth or vegetable broth
1 (11.5 ounce) can tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
1 cup brewed Salada 100% Green Tea
1 large potato, diced
2 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 cup chopped fresh green beans
1 cup fresh corn kernels
Salt and pepper to taste
Creole Seasoning to taste (optional)
Directions:
In a large stock pot combine broth, tomato juice, brewed green tea, potatoes, carrots, celery, undrained chopped tomatoes, green beans and corn.
Season with salt, pepper and optional Creole seasoning.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until all vegetables are tender.
Salada's Sizzling Green Tea Punch
Ingredients:
5 Salada Green Tea Bags
6 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole cloves
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
Directions:
Bring the water, sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves to a boil in a large saucepan.
Stir until sugar dissolves.
Boil for six minutes. Remove from heat.
Add the tea bags, cover and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags.
Add orange and lemon juices to punch.
Serve hot.
Hot Apple Cider with Salada Green Tea Chai Spice
Ingredients:
1 cup (8 ounces) apple cider [or apple juice]
1 bag of Salada Green Tea Chai Spice
Directions:
Heat the apple cider to almost a boil and remove from heat.
Place one bag of Salada Green Tea Chai Spice into the hot cider and steep for 3 minutes.
Remove the tea bag from the cider and enjoy.
If you'd like an even spicier drink, use two bags of Salada Green Tea Spiced Chai for added punch.
Salada's Plum Pudding
Ingredients:
1 package Junket® Vanilla Custard mix
1 cup whole milk
1/3 cup raisins – chopped
1/3 cup dates – chopped
1/3 cup dried figs – chopped
1 cup water
1 bag Salada Asian Plum White Tea
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cloves
Whipped cream (optional)
Maraschino cherries (optional)
Directions:
Heat water and steep one Salada White Tea Asian Plum tea bag for 3 minutes.
Remove bag.
Pour tea into a saucepan and add chopped raisins, dates and figs.
Cook mixture under low heat until fruit is tender.
Add sugar and increase heat to medium. Boil until thick.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
Let mixture cool slightly and then divide among four dessert cups or ramekins.
In a separate saucepan, make the custard according to instructions on box, but
use only 1 cup of milk.
As soon as the custard is mixed, add the cinnamon and cloves.
Pour custard mixture over fruit in dessert cups and let sit, undisturbed, for
10 minutes to set.
Chill for at least one hour.
Before serving, top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry (optional).
Makes 4 servings.

GREEN TEA TONER
Ingredients:
6 oz distilled water
6 oz aloe vera
Directions:
Brew 1 Salada caffeinated green tea bag in about 6 oz distilled water
Once tea has cooled, mix with 6 oz aloe vera
Keep mixture in refrigerator and use morning and night

SALADA HOT GREEN TEA CHAI
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup milk
2 Salada Green tea bags
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. allspice
Directions:
Combine the water and milk, and heat in a saucepan until boiling. Then add the sugar, tea bags and spices. Let simmer for 4 minutes. Strain out the tea bags and serve hot.
